OccuFertility is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

• Used accessible component libraries (Radix UI) throughout the application. All interactive components include appropriate ARIA roles, states, and properties
• Applied semantic HTML heading structure on all pages (h1 > h2 > h3, enforced by CI lint)
• Provided visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
• Ensured colour contrast meets 4.5:1 ratio for normal text
• Made all interactive elements reachable by keyboard
• Provided descriptive text alternatives for informative images

Known limitations

The following limitations have been identified in our most recent audit (May 2026):

• Some PDF documents generated by the platform (GP summary, LM brief, OH guide) may not be fully readable by screen readers. The text content is present but document structure tags are limited

We are working to address the PDF accessibility limitation. If you need any content in an alternative accessible format, please contact us.

Testing and audit

This website is built with React 18 and uses Radix UI ARIA-compliant components. It has been tested with automated tools (axe-core) and manual keyboard navigation.
